All donations are non-refundable.

Currently, we care for a maximum 8 rescues at a given time, and it averages $2,000 per horse to get them ready for their forever home. There are many ways you can donate:

  1. Monetary Donations

    Cash: Visit the rescue horses in person and donate.

  2. Feed and Supplies

    Hay (grass hay mostly)

    Grain (Tribute Kalm ‘EZ, Tribute Synergize, Tribute Senior Sport)

    Treats (Low sugar ones especially)

    First aid items (human or horse, especially spurrs big fix antiseptic spray)

    Barn equipment (muck forks, brooms,, pine-sol, antiseptic wipes, shop rags)

    Pest control - fly spray, fly bags, mosquito spray, or the ingredients to make our own (fractionated coconut oil, spurrs big fix antiseptic spray, and lavender)

  3. Tack Donations

    The rescue accepts tack of all disciplines to aid in the training of the rescue horses. Any items not used directly in our program will be sold at North Winds Rescue tack sale fundraisers directly supporting the rescue.
